Browsing and hosting

This website is delivered through Cloudflare. Hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and request times to deliver and protect the website. Their handling of that information is described in their own policies. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

The site code does not include advertising pixels, an analytics script, or a newsletter signup form.

When you email us

We receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. The contact address forwards to a Gmail inbox. Cloudflare and Google may process that correspondence to provide email services. We use messages to respond to enquiries and investigate corrections. Correspondence may be retained while an enquiry is active and as reasonably needed for follow-up or recordkeeping. You can ask us to delete it; retention needed for legal obligations or disputes may be excluded.

Change Tracker data

The Change Tracker stores entries and profile information in your browser’s local storage on that device. Its code does not send those entries to a server. Anyone with access to that browser profile may be able to view them. Clearing this site’s browser storage deletes locally saved records; switching browsers does not transfer them.

Downloaded summaries, CSV files, and backups remain wherever you save them. You control any sharing of those files. Clearing browser storage does not delete downloaded copies. Avoid entering sensitive information you do not need.

Retailer links and downloads

Retailer links take you to external websites with their own privacy practices. Current shopping links are ordinary links; they do not pay us commission. If affiliate links are introduced, this notice and the relevant pages will be updated to explain the relationship and any additional tracking. Free downloads currently do not require an email address.

Choices and changes

You can contact hello@olderdoghome.com about information you have sent us. We do not sell information submitted by email. This site is intended for adult caregivers. We will update this page when our practices change.
